These terms set out how you may use energysavingplan.com. Please read them before using the site. By using it, you accept them; if you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

The site is run by Energy Saving Plan, Manchester, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].

2. The site and the waitlist

Energy Saving Plan is in development. This site tells you about it and lets you join the waitlist. Joining is free and does not create a contract to supply anything, or commit you or us to anything. If we later offer a product or a trial, it will have its own terms. We may change, suspend or withdraw the site, or close the waitlist, at any time.

3. No professional advice

The content of this site is general information only. It is not professional advice, and you should not rely on it for an energy audit, a compliance decision or any other decision. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but we make no promise that it is.

4. How you may use the site

You must not:

• use the site in any way that breaks the law, or for any fraudulent purpose;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any system connected to it;
• attack the site, overload it, or introduce viruses or other harmful material;
• collect other people's information from the site; or
• give false details, or someone else's details without their permission, when joining the waitlist.

5. Our content

We own, or are licensed to use, the content of this site, including its words, the Energy Saving Plan name and logo, and its design. You may view the site and share links to it. You must not copy or use its content for commercial purposes without our written permission. The site's fonts, Space Grotesk and DM Sans, are used under the SIL Open Font Licence.

6. Linking to the site

You may link to our home page, as long as you do so fairly and legally and do not suggest any association, approval or endorsement on our part that does not exist. You must not show the site inside a frame on another site.

7. Other websites

Links to other websites are for your information only. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content.

8. Availability and security

We provide the site free of charge and "as is". We do not promise that it, or any content on it, will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, bugs or viruses. Please use your own virus protection.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, or from your reliance on its content. If you use the site for business purposes, we are in particular not liable for any loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, contracts, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

We use any personal information you give us as set out in our privacy policy. The cookies on this site are described on our cookies page.

11. General

If a court decides that any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest of the terms still apply. If we do not enforce any of these terms straight away, we can still enforce them later. Only you and we have any rights under these terms.

12. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, so if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms from time to time. The version published here, with the date above, is the one that applies when you use the site, so please check it each time.
